Booking Appointments On-Line
It is now possible to book a doctors appointment via the online system – please note that for the initial phase of the role-out this is for a limited number of appointments only. We hope to be able to increase the number available after we assess the ease of use and the amount they are used.
To access these on-line services you must first register. To do this please complete the Registration Form or pick one up from reception.
Please return the completed form to the practice in person with 2 forms of ID, one must be photographic e.g. passport, driving licence, Armed Forces ID, along with one further proof of address document i.e. utility bill, bank statement, mobile phone bill etc.
To ensure confidentiality we are only able to accept registrations in person - i.e. you cannot give your details to anyone else to register for you. Our reception staff will register you and provide you with unique login details and a secure password and instructions for the website.
You will then receive an email asking you to verify your email details within the next 7 days to activate your online account.
If, when trying to book an appointment, a time slot for the doctor of your choice is not available at the time you require this is because there are currently no pre-bookable slots available.
In that case, please either ring the surgery the day you wish to be seen or try again online the next working day.
If you subsequently decide that you no longer require an appointment you have booked on-line, please ensure that it is cancelled to enable the appointment to be offered to someone else.
You can cancel by using either the online facility or by telephoning reception.
Please continue to contact reception for nursing appointments, these cannot be booked on-line If you are unsure as to whether you need a doctor or a nurse appointment, please contact the surgery.
