We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients
the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the
patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting
us know what you think of us.
We have a new role at the practice.
We have employed a Clinical Pharmacist as part of our team. Our pharmacist will work directly with you, as part of the general practice team. To make sure your medicines help you get better and stay well. Seeing the pharmacist does not replace an appointment with the Doctor if this is required.
It may be more beneficial to have a consultation with the pharmacist if you require a medication review, or if you are experiencing side effects from your medicines. Over the coming weeks more information will follow.
We hope you will see this as a positive step for the practice as we do.
Changes when requesting an on the day appointment.
Over the coming weeks when patients call for an on the day appointment the receptionist will ask the caller for a brief description of the problem. This is to help direct the patient to the appropriate service for their problem. Our new clinical pharmacist may be more appropriate to see rather than an appointment with the G.P

Citizens Advice Service
We have a service at the practice for any of our patients who are having money worries, benefit issues, job problems or struggling to pay bills. They are available on Mondays 9:00am - 5:00pm and Wednesdays 9:00am - 5:00pm to offer support and advice. This is a walk-in service or alternatively you can book an appointment by contacting the practice.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Missed appointments at the practice
During the month of July 195 GP and Nurse appointments were wasted due to patients not attending. If you cannot attend an appointment it is vital that you let us know so we can offer it somebody who may really need it. #helpustohelpyou
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Our surgery is easily accessible to patients using a wheelchair. We also have three designated parking spaces in the car park and disabled access doors. Should you require the use of a wheelchair whilst you are in the surgery, please ask at reception and we will provide one for you during your visit.
