Flu Clinics

Do you usually have a flu vaccine? If so please ensure you read the following as the way in which the clinics will operate is very different to previous years.

This year there will be 3 different vaccines, one for patients 2 to less than 18 years of age (only well children aged 2 & 3 vaccinated through GP surgery or patients in at risk groups), secondly for at risk patients aged 18-64 years and a different vaccine for patients aged 65 and over.

Deliveries to the practice this year will be staggered over the months of September, October and November that is set by the suppliers, so clinics will run different to usual.

The above has been determined by the Department of Health and has no flexibility.

There will be clinics for patients aged 65 and over which they can attend for the vaccine to ensure we have adequate stock to vaccinate the patients, patients will be invited alphabetically to prevent a wasted visit to the practice.

Please see dates of adult clinics below. Dates for children clinics will follow shortly.
