This will result in a reduced number of appointments for Dr Lord, however with the recent recruitment of 2 new doctors at the surgery we will have increased availabilty to see a Doctor.

(MBChB, MRCGP Manchester 1996) – Dr Suntha has been with us since August 2013. He is fully qualified as a GP and has fitted in really well at the practice. We look forward to him being with us for some time.
(Lekarz 1997 LUBLIN T (GP) - Dr Misterek joined us in June 2017 her current working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. She is looking forward to meeting new patients.
(MBChB 2008 University of Manchester) - Dr Mantle joined us in July 2017, his working days are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. He is very much looking forward to meeting new patients.

Our maternity services within the practice are mainly undertaken by our team of very experienced midwives, based at Wigan hospital. The midwives provide full antenatal cover with weekly clinics at the surgery.
In-patient maternity care is usually provided at Wigan Infirmary.
Post natal care is provided at home by the same team of midwives who looked after you during your pregnancy, thus ensuring good continuity of care throughout the ante-natal and post-natal period.
District Nurse Teams offer a range of treatments to palliative care patients, housebound patients and those recently discharged from hospital. District Nurse teams are located at a variety of venues in the borough; they are not located at our GP practice. If you require the contact details of a District Nurse team near you please contact reception.
If you require stitch/staple removal, dressings or ear syringing please contact the District Nurse Single Point of Access team on 01942 483483 who will arrange a suitably convenient appointment time. Please note that our practice nurses do not offer these services.
